Heather Abke Barbee was born in Brenham on October 30, 1981. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family.Heather loved the Lord and her family,especially her husband Keith and her boys Ashton and Ian. Heather loved Jesus and sang for Him and blessed us with her beautiful voice and loving kindness.I am so thankful God shared Heather with us ,however only for a short time.Heathers life Bible verse is Jerimiah 29:11.I know the plans I have for you plans to give you a future and a hope.Heather loved her Daddy and her brother Justin and was proud of them .She loved her sister in law Brandy ,nieces Amy & Alyssa( Heather Kissed her precious niece Alyssa in Heaven she has Aunt Dees Beautiful blue eyes). Heather has many Aunts Uncles and Cousins that she was very close too.She also loved her In laws Nani and Papa Milton ,Goria ,David ,Kathylee,Lannah and Jack Barbee,MeMe and the many other members of the Anders and Barbee families. July 22,2005 Heather was told 3 words you never want to hear,especially for your child.You have Cancer.Of Course Heather chose to hold onto Her Saviors hand to help her as she battled for life in this world.Heather and I had many long talks and I remember Heather saying "Cancer has made me a better person"I hope I can be as stong as our Heather as we wait to see her in Heaven.
